I stepped into journalism after completing a one year stint toward a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the University of the South Pacific (USP) in Suva, Fiji 2002.
2003 saw me training on the job as a cadet reporter with the Samoa Observer under then Training and Development Editor Peter Lomas.
It wasn’t until 2006 that I was able to work more closely under the guidance of Samoa Observers founder and Editor in Chief Savea Sano Malifa while working in American Samoa at the Samoa Tribune.

some wide ranging stuff – was particularly interested in the Free Media Movement set up in Sri Lanka – well done!
